These flat-nose pliers are purpose-built for pulling needles through leather during hand-stitching — a task that's clumsy and slow with ordinary pliers, which have to be picked up and set down with every single pull. Designed to fit comfortably in the palm, the jaws spring back open automatically after each squeeze, and a finger ring at the tail keeps the tool secure in hand and prevents accidental drops. The jaws are textured with fine grooves to grip the needle firmly without slipping, and can be lined with a thin (0.2mm) strip of leather for extra cushioning and an even tighter hold. Made from 3Cr13 stainless steel and vacuum heat-treated to HRC50+ — close to the hardness of a kitchen knife — these pliers hold their shape under pressure and won't deform with regular use.
