The locking sheath of the pinning needle is made of brass, while the needle is made of stainless steel.

The needle is available in 2 sizes:

• The short needle is 12 mm - Suitable for securing leather pieces with a thickness of 0 - 6 mm
• The long needle is 18 mm - Suitable for securing leather pieces with a thickness of 6 - 12 mm
