This quality gives bags made from EP leather a laminated appearance and a rigid structure - a popular choice for making bags and small leather goods. In the case of watch straps made out of EP leather, the leather will require a bit of time to take on the shape of its owner’s wrist, but eventually it will hold that shape very well. 

Another reason why fashion couture uses this leather for its bags is due to the scratch-resistant properties the leather provides. For that reason, leather goods made with EP leather tend to display less wear and tear over time.

With the ‘laminated’ exterior, cleaning an EP leather bag is as simple as wiping it with a damp towel. It also earns high marks for water-resistance, making it a great option for someone who wants to use their bag everyday or for travel.
